(BangkokPost.com) - The Ministry of Finance will propose a one-year extension of tax measures to stimulate local real estate businesses at the cabinet meeting next week.
Finance Minister Suchart Thadathamrongvej said on Wednesday that his ministry has agreed with the private sector's call to continue tax measures for real estate businesses for another year.
According to the cabinet's previous resolution, the specific business tax has been reduced from 3.3 per cent to 0.1 per cent for a year, and the fees for transferring and mortgaging have been cut to 0.01 per cent.
