Supalai ' s Casa Riva, a key Bangkok condo development right on the Chao Phraya River, is on the verge of completion and the company is stepping up its efforts to bring in the buyers.

Supalai President Prateep Tangmatitham believes the fact that what is on offer is already in place puts the Casa Riva ahead of developments being sold off plans, not least because buyers can move in immediately: "You can see and touch it yourself by visiting Supalai Casa Riva today,” he said. “The rooms you are viewing will be real units, not mock ups." The first three towers of the development have been completed while the fourth and final tower is currently under construction.

Supalai Casa Riva is one of Supalai ' s key inner city developments; it is made up of four towers housing 825 exclusive freehold apartments on a 14-rai compound. "It is now a reality," says Prateep. "What was once raw land is a spectacular five-star landmark, full of open spaces, parks, gardens and sporting facilities."

Another big draw is the value the units represent, with prices starting from 4.4 million baht for an 80 square metre apartment. The developers has also been running a variety of promotions including a recent Loy Krathong offer for free air conditioners and built-in kitchen furniture.

Units on the residential estate, which is collectively valued at about 5 billion baht, contain four bedrooms, five bathrooms and large curved balconies. The completion of the project is on schedule and Prateep says there has already been a variety of foreign and local residents snapping up units. "We have about 20 per cent foreign buyers. The legal quota allows for 49 per cent foreign ownership."

Prateep, adds that the development came in response to demand as people are increasingly looking at condominiums as the ideal mode of accommodation in the city, "The five main attractions that have spurred our condos are convenience, safety, healthier air-flows, scenic views and the fact that they are mosquitoe free." says Prateep. "Living in a condo saves time, it protects its owners with good security systems as well as triggering alarms during an emergency."
